Clinical Research Nurse Manager
The Research Nurse Coordinator/Manager, operating under the direction of the Clinical Program Director, is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing of all daily operations at the IHA Research Clinic at Borlaug, located in College Station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols for TAMU Principal Investigators in a safe and efficient manner. Assists with the selection, enrollment, education, testing, data entry, and monitoring of research participants.

Works with the Pl, Postdoctoral Fellows, and technical staff to investigate the effects of premature birth and dietary interventions on protein synthesis, intracellular signaling, and metabolism.
Research Laboratory Coordinator II
We are seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to support research on the role of nutrition in the regulation of muscle growth. Works with the Pl, Postdoctoral Fellows, and technical staff to investigate the effects of premature birth and dietary interventions on protein synthesis, intracellular signaling, and metabolism. Plans, completes, and occasionally supervises research projects in accordance with the general plans approved by the Pl.
Student Technician
The Student Technician is responsible for plant sample preparation using digestion methods for mass spectrometry such as LC/MC, GC/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS. This includes homogenizing and weighing samples. The student will also have opportunities to learn basic analytical instrument usage including software and data interpretation. Additional tasks will involve sample preparation for DNA and RNA isolation for basic molecular biology including PCR and quantitative real-time PCR. The student will have the opportunity to learn basic DNA sequence alignment software for data analysis. As the research program develops the student will also participate in plant propagation, plant growth, maintaining plants, and measuring plant traits for downstream statistical analyses.
